Sandhills Strong's Save the Pumpkins Screening Program is proud to partner with Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center & Foundation and Valley County Health System & Foundation to provide free cancer preventive screening to individuals across Central Nebraska.
Through this partnership, we hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors by increasing access to early detection and life-saving screenings.
Cancer Screenings Covered*
· Mammograms
· Ultrasounds (Required for testing or screening related to a potential cancer diagnosis)
· Lung Cancer Screening Test
· Colorectal Cancer Screening
· Cervical Cancer Screening
· Prostate Cancer Screening Lab Work (Necessary for testing or screening related to a potential cancer diagnosis)
*This preventive screening program is available to all individuals—regardless of race, gender, age, income, religion, or insurance status. If your insurance does not fully cover any of the screenings listed above, this program may help cover the remaining balance. Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while program funds remain.
